I was pretty sold on Yaeger as my the place I was going to purchase my review course from, but after getting off the phone with Bonnie Yaeger I don’t think I want to invest my money with them. I really don’t need to be talked to as if I was three years old and for that matter I would never talk to my three year old like that! So what other programs do you use? Becker is out of my budget and I prefer to learn from lectures over reading all of the material.

Well to know that they include a hotline for any questions was a big selling point for me. If that is how I will be talked to I really would not want to call in and would waste that feature anyway. Was I suppose to just ask for Phil? I am not trying to snub their program just wanted some information.

The college I attend has never heard of Yaeger (students or prof) and have actually tried to talk me out of going with them because they are so unknown. I have tried to explain that they need to research it for themselves, but they are really stuck on the thought if they haven't heard of them they must not be good. So I was just calling to clarify some points of the program myself.

I have had an awesome experience with Yaeger and honestly, Phil Yaeger saved me from perpetual 71s. Not only is their material superior, but I was actually motivated by them, and studying didn't seem like such a chore.

Phil is the only instructor in the industry where you can call their 800 number and he'll answer the phone and do whatever it takes to help you. Dr. Phil Yaeger spent 1 1/2 hours with me over the phone explaining pensions!!!

Dr. Phil Yaeger’s wife, Bonnie, does not teach any of the courses and she knows nothing about accounting. Next time ask to speak to Dr. Phil Yaeger.

I have tried almost all of the CPA courses: Becker, Yaeger, Roger, Bisk, Kaplan, Lambers and Gleim. Yaeger is the best and least expensive for FAR, REG and BEC. Lambers (http://www.Lambers.com) is the best and least expensive for AUD. Gleim is the best for multiple choice questions and simulations. Kaplan has the best flash cards and the audio that goes with the flash cards. Wiley has the best book.

Do not cut your nose off to spite your face. Go with Yaeger Home Study and talk to Dr. Yaeger if you have problems.
