These forums helped me get through my CPA journey. Here are answers to many of the questions I had during my CPA experience.
1. I don’t think I passed. There is no way I passed. Has anyone felt this way and passed?
– Absolutely, I felt like I failed REG, FAR, and my second attempt at AUD. I passed REG and FAR my first attempt and passed audit with a 93 on my second attempt. However, I did feel like I passed AUD my first time around and got a 74.
2. I got a passing score in my rehearsal for Gleim or Mock Exam for Becker, can I expect to pass?
-110% that means you’ve master the material. Don’t let your scumbag brain tell you otherwise.
3. I studied for 3 weeks and work 50 hours a week can I still pass?
-Maybe. I studied for AUD for 3 weeks working 60 hours and got a 74.
4. How many hours should I study for?
Who cares, until you feel comfortable with the material.
5. Do people judge you if you fail?
-No, the CPA is the CPA. Those who haven’t taken the exams have no right to talk and those who have understand.
6. Can I study during busy season?
– It is stressful, but I passed BEC during busy season.7. Is it okay to cry, if I failed?
-Cry yourself to sleep every night for 2 weeks because it hurts, but get over yourself. Use that fear to fuel studying. Study like it’s your first time. Redo the program from start to finish, even if you got a 74. Remember you don’t need one point. You need 75 points on your next exam. Trust me you can pass your next time around.
Good luck and hope this helps.
