    Hi

I am using CPA Excel to prepare for the exam and have the self study course with text books and multiple choice questions. My question is that do i need any other study material to supplement my study or it covers everything?

    Thank you

i used CPA Excel and supplemented with WTB and previously released AICPA questions. CPA Excel outlines all the material fairly well at a reasonable price. It seems like the main problem is repeatedly reviewing the information to keep it fresh in your mind. I took FAR & REG with my University and utilized their study method to complete AUD & BEC on my own. The course is structured so that you complete a set of modules, then create an exam with 30 questions (to mimic the testlet) covering those modules. We had a total of 5 exams that covered all modules, then take a week before the exam to review all notes and MCQ, going through and understanding why each answer is wrong/right. WTB will help reinforce and check your understanding with the different styled questions.

I always thought that Becker would be the only way I would pass since I knew so many that didn't pass with CPA Excel. Don't get discouraged. It's really understanding the best study method for you and not so much the material, as they all seem to provide enough to cover the exam.

    FAR - 89 02/27/14
    REG - 88 04/30/14
    AUD - 90 7/3/14
    BEC - 87 8/30/14 DONE!
