Can't seem to pass any exams - Page 2

    Hi Everyone,

    I have been on another71.com for over 2 years now and have always been to this site for motivation. I have taken over 16 exams and not have passed a single exam. I am starting to rethink maybe the CPA path is not right for me. I am losing the motivation and the will to continue with these exams. I have just received my failing score for REG this morning.

    I have been Yeager CPA review and supplements with Ten-Point Combo through out the whole process. My highest score I ever got on all the exams are REG: 65 (6x), BEC 73 (5x), AUD 73(6x), and FAR 59 (2x). I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have always re-write my notes, read the ninja notes, listen to the audio, practice 2000+ multiples choice and make sure I score 80+ on the exam on Wiley Test Bank.

    I am willing to purchase a whole new review course before I give up on this journey, I was thinking Becker and start fresh again. Should I stay with my current review material or go ahead and purchase Becker review?

    Any advices would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Extreme fatigue not matter how long I slept – I literally had to force myself to get out of bed and function through my daily life, i.e, get through a day at work, deal with my family, many times I just went straight to bed and couldn't go one more second;

    2. I felt weak ALL the time;

    3. inability to focus and retain info (i could study for hours and it would look brand new the next day);

    4. So grumpy and irritable (God Bless my sweet husband for not running for the hills when no one would've blamed him);

    5. Shortness of breath (I thought this was from the lung surgery so I ignored it), dizziness and headaches (so many headaches);

    6. I had an irresistible (and so annoying) urge to eat ice all the time (I haven't had a desire to chew ice since my very first iron iv treatment). This is called pica. (some folks eat dirt but I wasn't going there!); I actually made the decision on which fridge to buy based on the type of ice it produced!

    7. At the worst of it – my bones hurt and it was hard to stand up..putting my feet on the floor and standing up for the first time each morning was so excruciating for lack of a better word…I dreaded it. I could walk across the house and be so exhausted I had to sit down or go back to bed. Awfulness!

    I thought I was just “in my 40's” for a LONG time! I feel 1000x better now than I did one year ago.

    PS: My docs “think” this started as a result of blood given during my lung surgery of 2008.

    @MUSTPASS – Don't give up. You can do it. I passed using Wiley textbook, Beckers, and Wiley Test Bank. I read Wiley textbook, then watched Becker videos while taking notes, then did WTB. If I still feel like I don't get the concept, I would read Wiley text again and make flash cards. Try to create your own notes in your own words 🙂

    BEC - 10/1/13 PASS
    REG - 12/6/13 PASS
    FAR - 1/21/14 PASS
    AUD - 2/27/14 PASS

    I don't know about the possible health concerns, but I do think you should stick with one section and take it until you pass before you move on to another section. I've heard great things about Becker and if you need new material and can afford it then do that.
