I just started studying for FAR last week and I was feeling good with the instructor Cindy, but I immediately became nervous when Phil started instructing. On one of the task based simulations, I was instructed to credit inventory to show an increase! I emailed the instructor hotline and they explained this was an error, but that makes me really nervous. I’ve been out of college for 4 years so alot of this is old material for me. I hate to think that I’m being instructed incorrectly on something as simple as debits and credits.

Did I make the wrong decision purchasing Yaeger??? I planned on using the home study course plus the FAR CRAM section. I’d hate to pay even more money after what I have had to pay for the Yaeger course.

@mdrobbin, I think that any course can be used to pass the exam. I am certain people will chime in to let you know they passed using Yaeger (or you can do a search). To ease your mind, I am currently using Becker and they have updates on their website for errors in the questions and text. I think all of the courses have errors because of the volume of information. I know it's frustrating, but I think the fact that you are recognizing errors means that you have a decent level of understanding the material and you're not just going through the motions. Also, I wonder if Intercompany (for example) would make more sense if my favorite Becker instructor were teaching the subject.These course providers really should let the “favorite” instructors teach the most difficult sections.I think you should continue, but if something doesn't seem right … ask the questions.
