Brush up course necessary?

Hi Guys, great forum here, a ton of great resources and helpful advice. I am making a second attempt at tackling the CPA after some years off. My career (7 years) has consisted of 1040 and trust work for high net worth individuals. I have very little if any work experience that could relate in any way to the FAR portion of the exam. I always did better in my business law, tax, economics classes in college as well. Would a refresher course in accounting/intermediate accounting make sense? I really haven’t done or looked at journal entries in quite some time. Maybe a tutor ? I don’t want to spend too much extra money being with how much the courses cost as it is. Thanks for any help!

No, I don't think so. The best thing you can is find a CPA study course suited to your learning style and budget and spend every free waking moment studying until you pass all four parts. This test is a head game don't allow yourself to be psyched out. Difficult is not impossible!
