For all of my exams I have sat for them mid-week and would usually start studying the following Monday for the next exam. It depends on how close together you have them scheduled and how well you prep.

    AUD - 69, 78
    BEC - 80
    REG - 89
    FAR - 80

I would always take a week off before starting the next section. Doesn't seem like much if you think about it. LOL.

BEC is Friday morning at 8am and should be over around 11. A quick trip to Sams, maybe an hour in there and 2 hour drive home. I should be studying for FAR by 6pm Friday. Be careful taking breaks that are too long. You will lose your motivation and momentum. This is the voice of experience talking here!

It depends when I plan on taking the next part, but usually a week or so just to refresh and clear my mind. Sometimes I'll wait to receive my score back.

    BEC - 80
    AUD - 85
    FAR - 76
    REG - 75

I dont know how I am going to focus while constantly thinking about my FAR result.

@Kricket you have a very valid point; I am already tired from merely looking at the AUD book.

I started BEC lecture after I came home from REG by a few hours…. I started AUD I think the same day I took BEC.. Im taking AUD tomorrow, and Im exhausted… so exhausted… I start FAR F1 Lecture tomorrow evening after I come back from AUD. I wish I could take 2 weeks between each exam.. but oh well.

REG: PASS || BEC: PASS || AUD: PASS || F: SCORE PENDING..

I would love to start studying for REG after my FAR exam Thursday, but will probably wait until I get my score. I don't want to start REG if I have to retake FAR since I would retake FAR before REG. it sucks though, because I am usually in such a groove with studying, it is a shame to break it. If it were a different section that didn't have contradicting info, I would probably start right away. But since these are my last two sections, I am kind of stuck waiting.

    REG 72, 86 and DONE!!!
    BEC 80 🙂
    FAR 72, 78 🙂
    AUD 73, 76 🙂

Waited both times for the score release to start studying. Felt like, I need to know if I have to restudy because of fail, or study for the next one.

LOL @Jeff… I thought about it when the thread was started… but I didn't want to seem overly predictable/repetitive lol

I think it works best to take a break of no more than a week. Mine have been mid/end of week and I tried to start again on Monday. Even if you start out slow, I think it's better than taking a couple weeks off. After I took BEC I felt like I was in no rush because I had a long time before REG on 10/1 (thanks to Sept being a closed month). So for the first few weeks, and grueling wait for the grade, I slacked big time. Made it really hard to get back into the groove. I know it is hard to move on when waiting for a grade, but try and be confident that you passed and moving on is a helpful distraction to constantly stressing over the impending grade.

    AUD 85 (2/12) Using Becker
    FAR 81 (5/12)
    BEC 79 (7/13)
    REG 85 (10/1)

I give myself the rest of the day off after an exam. After that, I hit the books again.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

I typically would only take the rest of the day if I will be studying for a test I have not taken already..however if I have taken the test already and have a lot of time I will take no more than a week off…good luck
