Okay, trying to make a quick decision about how to restudy for REG.

Now that I’ve swallowed my pride and realize that the 70 I got on REG isn’t going away, I need a new game plan.

I used 2011 Becker review for the exam, and never felt like I really grasped many of the tax concepts in the book. I worked about 80% of the MC and did a couple of sims. I also used the Wiley test bank to work MC. I realize now that I shouldn’t have taken the exam with such a shaky understanding of key concepts.

So now what? Do I go back to Becker, take my time and see if I can figure out what they’re trying to say. Or is maybe switching to Yaeger a better bet for nailing down the fundamentals?

And if I did Yaeger, should I totally start over and do their homestudy? Or just buy the CRAM?

All opinions are welcome. I got a 70 on REG.

    thanks!

dorky, do you have Becker's flashcards for REG??? I believe they are incredible and really helped me for REG. In addition, I also used the Wiley book and Jeff's Ninjas Notes. Wiley book was mostly for additional mcqs and portability (had it on my car all the time)
