I’m taking my first exam ever tomorrow and I can’t wait for it to be over. I’ve been dreading it all week and debating on not going but after all of this studying I CANT GIVE UP!!! I’ve been up since 4 this morning reviewing and took a practice test through Becker this morning (not going to say how HORRIBLE I did on it). So…I’m going in tomorrow….going to do my best and regardless of the outcome it’s not the end of the world. If at first you don’t succeed….you know the rest.

After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

@matrix11….the exam was um…..hmmm….I dont know how to describe it. I felt like the questions were VERY tricky and you MUST know the material inside and out up and down. I was tested over and over and over again on a topic that Becker did NOT stress and I was pretty sad. The writing section was the best part. It was like a breath of fresh air after those three testlets. I looked at Becker's writing tutorial and I believe it helped. I'm willing to say that I could've done better had I followed Jeff's rules. I did not read the ninja notes 5 times. I read it twice. I did not re-write the ninja notes, I re wrote my own and that was probably a mistake. All in all.. it was an ok experience. I was an emotional wreck until I got in the car to drive there but after, I was ok. I felt ok. So…I guess we will see in a month or so. Now…I'm on to Audit. Taking ALL of Jeff's advice and learning from the mistakes I made while preparing for BEC. No one automatically knows how to defeat this beast….you just have to keep learning one test at a time.
