So i recently purchased Yaeger’s BEC course after hearing so many good things about it. Ive been around the BEC block a few times (like 6 or 7 – im not even sure anymore) and I decided that I needed a change of scenery (Becker). I started the course with Phil and business orgs and all was well. He taught the information well and there were questions in the Wiley book which I have never seen before. Now im knee deep in IT and i am very very surprised. IT is close to 3 hrs and the teacher didnt actually teach anything!!! She practically read the Wiley book and indicated which review question to do when! WTF! I am honestly very surprised and upset (and frankly quite nervous – what happens if its like this for cost and finance???). Did any other Yaeger users find this strange??? I guess this really is the only place to vent….thanks for listening….

I used Yaeger and passed BEC 77 on my first try. Just follow the course and do what they tell you and some extra problems and you will pass! Cindy Simpson is awesome through BEC and FAR you are going to learn the material!

Memorize the IT stuff that she tells you and do the MCQs at least 3 times……

NJCPA – did you use a course prior to getting Yeager?

airhol2 – Yaeger was the only course that have used to pass BEC,FAR and REG…and I'm 42 and have been real rusty since my college days. If I can pass anyone can pass!

Yaeger may not be as strong for AUD, but Yaeger does come with the Wiley Book and CD….and now I think if you do all the AUD MCQ in the Wiley book and ALL the MCQs in the Wiley CD==> all 2 times, then you stand a better chance. That's what I'm doing now for AUD plus I'm also doing the Gleim system for AUD……hopefully I'll pass at the end of April….I've done already 1,800MCQs…..

NJCPA – This is my last part – i used Becker for the other 3 and on my first 6-7 BEC attempts.

Besides the questions that Yaeger tells you to do, whats the deal with the Wiley software and all those additional questions? Are those also questions “required” by Yaeger?
