How many MCQs can you do in a day? I’ve always got great ambitions. It seems on a good day that I will peter out around 300 MCQs.

    300 questions x 2 mins per problem = 600 mins = 10 hours.

    Sounds right?

Gosh, my exam is on Monday and Ninja says I haven’t seen 800 MCQs. I guess I’m deadmeat!

@ijustwant76 I average about the same…roughly 300 a day. My exam is also Monday, so 300 is high compared to say 2 weeks ago when I wasn't in cram mode. I still haven't seen 434 questions so don't feel too bad. We'll be fine!

Haha, right now, I'm just focused on getting around 80% trending score. Right now, I'm about 65%.

Ummm I average around 50 MCQs a day, lol. I can't do much more than that without getting bored, restless, and not really reading the questions. I'm like that in my test, too – on that third testlet I have to constantly force myself to sloooooowww down and read the question because I'm so ready to be done with MCQs!

I try to make up for it by reading the answers to all the MCQs to further my learning that way and do a “quality over quantity” approach. I know I could feel a bit more confident going into the exam if I could hammer out hundreds of questions a day but I would rip my hair out.

    AUD - 88
    REG - 76
    BEC - 88
    FAR - scheduled for 10/20/14

Normally I only sets of 10-20 only. But with a little more than two weeks before BEC, I have been pulling about 200. I have gone through all the chapters so it is basically a review of the review.

probably average of 60 a day, week of the exam I'll kick it up to 80-100 a day because I'm not spending any time learning new sections so I might as well spend an extra hour or so doing MCQs

I couldn't even imagine doing 10 hours of MCQs, really. I do sets of 20 questions and they take me around 20 minutes each, so I'm studying for an hour, two at most. 10 hours a day, man, that's torture.

I try to average around 100 MCQ a day, and ramp it up a little on weekend days. At least for REG. When I was studying for AUD, I could go through so many more questions in a day. One weekend I did over 900 :

I definitely notice an increase in carelessness towards the end, though – I get tired and make mistakes.

    BEC - 72, 82! ✓
    FAR - 80! ✓
    AUD - 70, 92! ✓
    REG - 74, 78! ✓

Wow. I make sure I do at least 50 questions a day (ok, sometimes I still don't make that), but I have sure never done 300! I probably average from anywhere from 30-125 questions a day. I spend a lot of time making flashcards, which is why I do not do as much MCQ. I also have flashcards on my phone, so those help reinforce the concepts as well.

I am using Becker, so I try to do one section every two days, so it just depends on how many MCQs that section has. I'm on BEC right now and it seemed like every section has 200+ questions, so I'm doing 200+ questions every two days (with some repeats, because I do them over until I get at least 90% done).

When I was review for FAR with Ninja MCQs, I did 800 one day. 😡 It was kind of a nightmare, but it was all I did all day and hopefully it paid off. (COME ON NOVEMBER 3RD!!)

    REG - 87 (Becker)
    AUD - 96 (Becker & Ninja MCQs)
FAR - 85 (Becker, Ninja MCQs, Audio and Blitz)
BEC - Last one! Waiting on score release 11/24!

I don't do very many MCQs each day either. The most I did for BEC was 128 in one day, and I bet I never did that many in one day for any of the other exams. I only did 13XX total for FAR, 1001 for REG, and maybe 7-800 for AUD. I lose focus easily, so I try to go for quality over quantity by carefully thinking through each one and looking them up if I need to.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I try to go for 60 mcq/day (2 sets of 30 after work). Sometimes I don't quite make it. I rather take my time with mcqs and try to really understand why I got the question right or wrong. I could do over 100 mcq if I wanted too, but I know it's not the best way for me to learn because I am going to start being restless and careless and just miss questions because I'm not focusing enough.

I don't think the number matters, understanding the material is most important.

I should note that with the amount of MCQs I do (200+ every two days), it is because I am not currently working and all I do is study. I wouldn't suggest trying to do 200+ MCQs after working all day!

    REG - 87 (Becker)
    AUD - 96 (Becker & Ninja MCQs)
FAR - 85 (Becker, Ninja MCQs, Audio and Blitz)
BEC - Last one! Waiting on score release 11/24!
