I was looking to postpone my May 29th REG test, but there are no July or August dates available. Do they open more? It just seems odd that there are not spots available this far out.

If you go to the generic Prometric site you won't see many open seats. Try http://www.prometric.com/cpa.

You just have to keep checking – usually seats open up because people push their test back.

Are you close to another testing center? For me, I was tired of having to schedule way ahead of time or taking days off to take the exam, then I found a Prometric center a little further away that has availability just about every day including Sundays.
