I have REG on my NTS expiring end of May. Should I take it (still in busy season hours) with 2.5 months from today to study, or should I just take AUD to be 75% done w/ all my exams (assuming I pass) and do REG in the summer?

Honestly, in my opinion, it's possible to do both in the same window. It'll suck, but it's doable. As cheap as I am, I'd rather not waste the money if it's going to expire. I utilized mainly the ninja notes and mcq for both AUD and REG with CPAexcel as a backup for further clarification. Studied 2-3 hours during the week and 5-7 hours on the weekend. All depends on how dedicated you are to getting it done.

In the same window I mean study for one then take it middle-late April then study for the second and take it late May.

It's definitely rough working busy season hours, but I'd stick with REG. I work in audit and have absolutely no experience/desire to work in tax and conquered REG after 2 months of study, so if you've already put significant time into studying and still have 2.5 months left then you have more than enough time to succeed.

Dunno that I'd recommend trying to conquer two sections in that amount of time, though, the last thing you want to do is fail both. Such a great way to “save” money…
