AUD in one week – thinking of rescheduling again – Thoughts?

Have AUD scheduled for 1 week from today (Dec 5th, rescheduled from November 29th). Using WIleyTestBank MCQs and NINJA notes. I have Becker software but haven’t touched it this time around (will be my 3rd try at AUD). Haven’t gotten better than mid-60s on any of my WIley Practice Sessions. So I’m thinking of pushing AUD back another month to January. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts or advice. Sure would appreciate it.

I have BEC scheduled for late January so would probably push that back a month as well if I decide to reschedule AUD again.

I feel like spending another $35 to reschedule AUD couldn’t hurt, but not passing AUD again could.

If you had 2weeks I would say go and get it done but 1 week.hmmm..I registered on Nov 5 to take the exam on Nov 25 without knowing that I have to pay if I want to schedule :)). Sometimes I was hesistant and thought about rescheduling but finally I kept the schedule, studied hard and took the exam last Sunday cause I want to get it done without further delaying. Theoritically I had 3 weeks but because of some events so I think I did actually have 2 weeks to study. I have not known the result yet but so far I think I should be fine :). Given that you're farmiliar with the topic and if you can spend 8h per day, I think you'll be fine. If I were you, I would spend the whole time playing with Wiley Test bank. Goodluck!

    Hello “gsnyder00”

It all depends on the 18th months. Make sure you don't loose the 18th month. That is what happend to me and I am paying dearly for it.

    Good luck.

    BEC PASSED

I'm good on my 18 months for FAR. I basically started studying after October 15th, but haven't been able to devote as much time to it as I'd like. Keep in mind that I work full time & have a wife & dog that fight for my spare time.

But theoretically I could take it next week and still take it again in early January if I don't pass. So conflicted – AUD has been my bane …. and more like the Bane in the comics books – not like the recent movie where he's someone's errand boy

gsnyder – I am scheduled to take AUD on Saturday, 12/1…so, uh 2 days from now? I have an 8 month old, a husband, a full time job and 2 dogs so I know how you feel. I thought about pushing it back to January as well but decided to spend all day at work this week rewriting NINJA notes and working MCQ's (which reminds me, I need to get off this site!). I finally got through the material on Monday and have been feverishly trying to make the info stick. AUD is my bane, I don't know it and never wanted to know it. I'm scoring 75-80% on my MCQ's and have been using the AICPA site to look up authoritative literature so I'm hoping that will help me on my SIMS. I say buckle down and keep working the MCQ's – really focus on understanding the reasoning behind the answer. I've found that if I just slow down and actually read what the question is asking, that is more than half the battle.
