I am just curious whether anyone ever has passed a section without specifically reviewing for the section of the CPA exam and instead relied on what they learned in school or at the job?

    A: 77 11/4/13 Wiley Test Bank

@OP: looks like you got a 77 on AUD. So did you study?? This should give you a clue…

The only part I didn't study for was WC part of BEC because I knew I was good at writing and I did stronger on that part.

For everything else I studied a lot – per Roger CPA review recommendation and I felt well-prepared which isn't exactly reflected in my scores, in my opinion. So, I don't know what people do to score 90's. …yes, I'm weird 😉 I do envy them… but just a little bit 🙂

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

M.O.D. – I don't know where you read that the passing score comes from random CPA's taking the exam, but that is blatantly false!

There is a little more to it than random CPA's taking the exam.
