So my audit exam is scheduled for Friday. If I pass it, I’m done! It’s been a long road and I hope to see it come to a close. Really hope to have this thing knocked out before football season.

I’m curious to know, for others out there in a similar position, how was your preparation for the last exam compared to the three previous?

I take BEC this week. My preparation has been short of my expectation. I was hoping to get through all of the HW at least once, but I only managed to get through 4 1/2 of 6 chapters using Becker. I didn't get a great jump on this section but the last 2 weeks, with the exception of this past weekend, I've been studying hard. This seems to be the case for all of my sections =/. I made sure I reviewed each chapter and write down key information in a notebook. The notebook and I will be best friends this week =). Instead of hammering out the last few hundred of MCQ, I believe reviewing each chapter in it's entirety is more effective. Especially the first 3 chapters.

@yourmomsCPA, we're on the same boat. Hopefully, we get this done. It would be awesome to accomplish this goal, let alone on the first attempt.

My last exam in on Sunday(yes they have exams on Sunday) at 4:00pm. I finshed finals for my MST program on the 14th, so I basically have or had 16 days to cram for BEC and that will be the extent of my prep. I was feeling good about my time when I was just doing Cpaexcal, but the Wiley test bank is presenting me with a dozen or so new calculations to learn, and a barrel full of new sub topics. My target was to study 10 hours a day full-time, but my average has been about 8 hours. I have a meet the firms event next month and I am unemployed, so it would be great to update my resume to “Passed all 4 CPA exams”!

My last exam is BEC on this Sunday. I don't know my FAR test yet. I will know both FAR and BEC on September 9th. Hopefully, this is my last exam!!!!

Well, it went *okay* yesterday. You guys know how it is trying to gage how well you did. Some of the questions were SO easy, I had to guess on at least 5 (couple of ratios I'd never heard of so I literally just picked an answer), my 2nd testlet had some really easy questions and some I had no clue about so who knows! Plus, I hate that I'd never had a written communication graded before. It would've been nice to have gotten some feedback before going in. Two of the prompts were pretty easy…one of them was on something we should all memorize but I didn't. I had a vague recollection so I just made up a lot of it – but it was still well written so if it actually counts, do they give partial credit?

If I didn't pass, I at least got really close! I at least have a couple of weeks to not feel guilty about doing my own thing!

Tomorrow is my last exam(FAR). I actually feel pretty ready for this one. I am shocked at how much the ninja notes helped pull everything together. It took about 5-6 weeks, but now it all seems to flow.

Two days to go before the exam and I'm officially burnt out. I feel like I know this stuff like the back of my hand and wish I could just take the dang thing today. Probably going to try to push through one more night of studying and then reward myself tomorrow night by watching college football and drinking a beer.

My experience wasn't as bad as I had expected. Although, the thought of BEC's MCQs are worth 85% is pretty eerie. Like other exams, the materials that I heavily studied for were barely tested or didn't even show up. Similar to other candidate's experience, some were way out of left field. I had to guess on these as I had no idea what the answers were. Hopefully they're pre-test questions. Overall, I believe I knew enough to pass but who knows with these exams. I could be confident as a cucumber but fail. The MC sims weren't too bad. 2 of the 3 I knew what I was talking about. The other, I had to improvise. I'm not a great writer. So earning 8-12 points from WC would be great for me. Hopefully, I could tuck these books onto the bookshelf and never open them again.

In the mean time, let's enjoy our “free” time and enjoy life until score release day. Happy Labor Day weekend and Good luck all!

@zumbasweety – Agreed! I took audit last week, as well. How do you think it went? Do you feel a lot different about this test than you did you first attempt at audit?

@smashbox20-I do feel differently about this one. I'm really scared to say I'm more confident this time around. I nailed the SIMS. They were in the AL mostly, so I feel good about them. Now, if only I didn't screw up the MCQ…. How do you feel about your exam?

Exactly the same, Zumba. Those were the easiest SIMS that I've had so I hope that I didn't drop the ball on the MCQ. Good luck, maybe we both nailed it!
