Anyone else changed their study schedule?

I did. I was originally on Becker Fastpass but had to switch to Self Study to allow myself to take two sections before September (blackout month). I didn’t switch because it was too hard; in fact it actually pushed me to study and do all the homework, but since all of my classes per section were back to back, there was no way I could schedule any tests in between. I am currently scheduled to take BEC on 7/28 and AUD on 8/25. After that, I will have all of September to study for FAR. Had I kept Fastpass, this would not have been possible as I would be in between classes studying for different sections, and no time to focus on just one section. I would have to wait until late November or January to take the last section and I don’t think I want to wait that long, since I am unemployed and studying full-time but want to get a job after I finish all four sections.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I have learned to be flexible with myself and my scheduling. I always schedule in advance for personal accountability, but I have rescheduled my exams when I felt I wasn't ready. You will get a feel for your limits as you study and after you take an exam or two.

What is your BEC study plan? I am scheduled to take BEC 7/21 and I am struggling to buckle down and study the material!

My plan is to get through all the lectures and homework before the middle of next week. That way, I will have two weeks to study on my own, redo the homework and the simulations, and do the progress tests. However, I will admit I am still in Fastpass mode so hopefully this will not change (for the worse).

I don't know if you are using Becker or not, but what I learned is to go through the lectures first, study, attempt the homework and simulations, and move on to the next section. After you are done with the material, go back and study on your own then redo everything until you pretty much got it down. However, this is only me. You should do what works for you. And don't fret. Between now and 7/21, you still have about two weeks. As long as you stay disciplined, you should be fine. One guy I know studied FAR in a week and a half, and passed the exam in one try. And from what we probably heard, FAR is the hardest section.

You can prepare your study to the most minute detail, however something will always come up and you have to move things around on the fly.

You just have to go with the flow and adapt and adjust as you go. Just wanting being lazy and not wanting to study for a few hours because you needed a break can throw off any schedule.

So I just said screw the schedule.

    I am with Skynet

Find how you learn and then study to take the test. Keep in mind though, you should schedule otherwise many lack the motivation to keep studying. Many will just keep pushing the test date back or pay to reschedule…..

Most people need a firm date to get them to study

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

    *expired
