I have not seen anyone saying that they reviewed the sample tutorial or did the sample tests found on the aicpa site. If anyone has done it, I look forward to your opinion on it

I have and I found it useful. For one, it may not be a lot of questions, but it is still a set of practice questions and simulations. Two, it is the setup you will see on test day. Three, it only takes about 15 minutes to go through, so why not?

Three, you're more than likely to see similar simulations on the exam, and probably the exact same questions. I have done every one of them so far. It's only five questions and a few edited SIMS, but I can tell you the few minutes it took was way more than worth it.

In my opinion, the SIMS on the AICPA website are not representative of what they are on the exam (difficulty-wise). It seems that the purpose of the SIMS on the AICPA website is to help you with the functionality of the SIMS. I think the SIMS on the actual exam are much more difficult.

I did all four for each exam. I don't usually practice research questions or SIMS, and their sample exams gave me a good chance to practice research SIMS right before the test…you only need to practice once for research questions by getting familiar with the format.

I just did the AICPA practice test for AUD and when I checked my answers to one of the SIMS to see if I got it right I noticed that one of my answers was off by $500 because their answer had been rounded by that same amount.

$500 round-up; really?? Is that normal? I mean, when I read in the instructions that I should round-up to the nearest dollar amount I never thought that meant $500.

Should I worry about that on exam day?

If I make the right calculation and enter that amount on the exam will I get it wrong for not rounding up by $500?

I'm confused.
