Has anyone here ever taken a lorazepam or two right before sitting for the exam? I’ve thought about it before, I tend to get very anxious by the time I get to the test center. By the time I sit in front of the computer, my hands are shaking and my confidence waivers. I decided against it though thinking it may affect my concentration or just make me feel tired. This guy I spoke to yesterday told me meds helped him tremendously, like it made him feel very confident and relaxed.

Any thoughts? This is my last exam, hopefully, and I think I’ll be more anxious than ever.

Try Magnesium citrate and Calcium. A meditation technique I've tried is breathe in through one nostril and out the other. It's funny, but you spend so much brain power trying to do this that the anxiety doesn't have a place to grab hold. Also, make yourself laugh. Listen to a comedy radio station on the way to the exam. Laughter (and a healthy dose of prayer) works wonders!

    AUD 88 (expired), 80 retake

I had a panic attack during my last exam because I knew I was about to be done with this testing process.

It is normal to feel crazy or anxious. Just breathe and finish this thing.

Unless you know how you react to the meds, it's just one more variable that you're adding to an already stressful exam.

I would speak to your doctor regarding this because internet doctors often do more harm than good.

Using Ninja MCQ, NINJA Notes, Audio, Flashcards and BLITZ, and 2014 Wiley Text

I'm a HUGE proponent of doing things the exact same way as the other exams you passed (same testing center, at the same time, etc)…maybe it's just superstitious. 🙂 If you didn't take meds before, don't bother with this one. The last thing you want is to feel drowsy or have a weird side effect DURING the exam. Good luck!!!
