    I think I am ready to give it up! I took Bisks review course for the first time and got a 40 on AUD. I tried to get myself together and study 2 hours at work+ 4 more hours at home after work 5 days a weeks for 8 weeks. Took another exam and got the score yesterday: a big fat 41. I have tried everything that I could. I bought the AUD Ninja notes. Took notes by hand. Read chapters. Did all multiple choice questions and I never skipped to next chapter unless I get at least 90. bought Bisks text book and did all of the multiple choice at least 2 times. I also did all of the question is Becker Passmaster multiple choice stimulation. Very confidence stepped into that testing room and assumed I will do well. The score of 41 just like a slap on my face.

    Very very very sad and frustrated. I am ready to give it up.

    xn25drexel- I am sorry to hear that. Audit is a nightmare. I have not heard of the Bisks review course before (and it could just be me). Since there is such a drastic difference between your practice tests and your actual score, maybe you should try a different review set? Ninja is great, but it is supposed to supplement a set study plan.

    Good luck to you. Keep at it and you will defeat Audit.

    Do you think you are maybe memorizing the multiple choice answers? I hate to be honest but a lot of people here would probably agree that scores in the 40s probably mean you don't have a very good grasp on the subject matter. 60s and 70s are definitely more “common” failing scores, it seems.

    For what it's worth, I am not a fan of Bisk. I used it as my sole study materials for my 70 score on REG and 62 in BEC, and only after adding some Wiley materials did I pass those sections.

    Don't give up! This sh*t is hard 🙂

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

    @nbad311

    i memoried lots of questions but i aslo read why other answers in the same question are not correct. i am a little weak at stimulations but i have tried to practice like 100 times in Bisk Book, Wiley testbank, and Becker. i am not a dumb kid either. i graduated Master program last year with a 3.9. i thought all of the material should be fresh in my brain. i guess i need a brain wash.

    @BaxterCPA

    i feel your pain. thank you so much for your encouragement.

    You should never ever give up. Exam is hard but a 40 really does mean you are simply not preparing right and don't know the material. Try doing Becker and supplementing with Wiley Test bank. Not sure if the review materials you are using is outdated or just doesn't cover enough important points. But its definitely not you that's the problem if you are putting in that much hours to study. If cost is an issue there is other great prep materials like gleim or Wiley. I personally definitely recommend Wiley Test bank. Best of luck to you and keep us posted.

    I agree with everyone else. Try a different review material. I'm using Becker but that can be on the pricey side. If you're putting in that many hours, I definitely don't think it's your effort.

    Wiley books and test bank is the cheapest most accurate you can come to the materials on the test. Then there are other materials, but in case cost is an issue. the wiley test bank can give you a better idea of weakness.

    Hope this helps…..don't give up….step up :-))

    It begins with a 75
    Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass
