So, to make a long story short. I will not be working until late Aug because I have one class to legally graduate. I’ll be taking the class during the summer, and I have enrolled in a “CPA Bootcamp” using Wiley CPA Excel. The plan of attack is listed below.

    June 1 – June 16 Study FAR

    June 17 – June 27 Study AUD

    June 28 – July 9 Review & Sit FAR & AUD

    July 11 – July 18 Study BEC

    July 19 – July 26 Review & Sit BEC

    July 27 – Aug 5 Study REG

    Aug 6 – Aug 12 Review & Sit REG

All those willing, please share any study tips that would help. I thought about purchasing Becker final review and/or Ninja, thoughts? Also, I’d appreciate if anyone who is or has been in similar situation could share their study plan. Thanks for reading.

Even if you had a sneak peek into all four exams you still couldn't pull that off.

You can't cheat the process you have to take ample time when studying for this exam.

Just thought I'd update anyone who cares. passing in one window is very achievable. I failed to study like I should have. I didn't pass all four parts in the summer, but I just found out I passed retake of REG. I would just like to say to anyone with similar goals to continue to strive for something greater than average. To the negative people, continue to be average.

@Nath – I won’t be making any updates since I am done with the exams, but I can give you an overview of my method. Keep in mind that I studied only one to three weeks for each part.

I think I should note that I used Ninja for each passing part. The one exam that I failed, I didn’t use Ninja. I didn’t study like I should have for REG, but I’m almost positive that if I had studied with Ninja MCQ with the time I did actually studied, I would have passed.

Before taking any exam, I took a quiz to confirm my learning styles which where visual and kinesthetic. So my studying did not include any videos, audio, mnemonics/acronyms/word techniques, or anything else that would have wasted time for me.

I did do a lot of hand- writing as I did in college. Writing has just always cemented ideas in my mind. Even in college, I would just write it, never look at my notes and remember it.

    Anyway, for each passing part
Step 1 – Answer 100 to 300 questions to figure out my weakest areas.
Step 2 – Prioritize my weakest areas and write down notes according to those areas
Step 3 – Answer question set after writing notes for each individual area
Step 4 – After going over all weak areas, answer another 100 to 300 questions
Step 5 – Step 2 and 3 again; If in a time crunch, I went over higher priorities first
Step 6 – If I felt comparable on all topics, I just drilled 50 to 100 random questions on every day that I did study. I did this regardless of not knowing a lot about business law for REG. I just decided, I wasn’t going to waste my time trying to understand everything about business law.

That’s it, nothing magical. This method was determined to be the most efficient and effective for me and my learning style.

Congrats @neaux2135. I just passed BEC and I passed FAR a couple weeks ago. I am scheduled to take AUD in beg. of DEC and I would have taken REG earlier, but I am going to england in a couple weeks and my brother is getting married. So I am pushing it off until end of January. So i totally get you that its acheivable. Good luck with all of your future endevours.

I hoped when I saw this thread resurrected that it would be with a triumphant post, and it was! 🙂 Congrats to you, and congrats on forging ahead despite the odds. I'd pass in 5 attempts in 4 months than 4 attempts in a year. 🙂 Of course not everyone has the option, but bravo to you for recognizing you did and taking it.

I pulled this off. I was hired in summer and start date wasn’t until November. I had a few months. Once I was able to sit for the exam I scheduled all 4 parts with approximately 2 weeks between them. I started with FAR so I had the most time to study that section. I wrapped up w BEC.

I didn’t mess around- I studied ~10-12 hours per day. I basically lived and breathed the tests. When I wasn’t studying, I was thinking about studying. I was always a good “crammer” in college, so I treated this like an extended cramming session.

Anyway, I think most responses here are mostly negative. The reason more people don’t achieve this is because more people don’t try it. I’m not super smart. I’m just an above average test taker that put his mind to this.

I passed first attempt w/ all 84’s and a 91 on REG. When I initially sat for REG the computer wasn’t working at the testing center, so I had to reschedule. I got an extra week or so to study…

Good luck to anyone who wants to try this. I recommend it to those that are good at taking tests and staying focused.

There was a guy on here before who took all 4 parts in one window and he ended up getting 90+ on all 4 of them. My little brain definitely couldn't hold all that information. I've already forgotten most everything I learned and I just finished a month ago. Maybe if I did it fresh out of school I'd manage but definitely not after several years went by.

    Good for you Texas Toast.

I wanted to do all 4 in one window, also while working full-time, but I landed a new job in June and moved to another state. All put together that slowed me down some so I had to settle for taking all 4 before my NTS expired over the course of 5 months – Aug thru Dec. Still waiting on that BEC score…
