As anyone struggling with SIMs will know, they can be a pain in the rear!

Thanks to @MintsRGoood, I learned about the AICPA database access that you can get with a valid NTS.

I am studying for AUD retake and am REALLY struggling with SIMs (which seems to be the key to passing that section)

How have you incorporated the database into your studies?

Come up with Qs to search or use already established SIMs from you study material?

I have reviewed ALL of the WTB SIMs and tried to review them in the database…none of the answers or helpful hints were available 🙁

Does anyone have this problem when using the database?

I know that the database is of no help with some SIMs…

@G3 I'm sorry to hear that the SIMS are tripping you up!!! Do you have the Wiley textbook also? If not, it's approx. $50 and the book SIMS are hard! I've also heard that Gleim has a test bank+SIMS that are extremely challenging.

I have the 2013 Wiley textbook from a previous attempt (with prior and post June 2013 changes) do you think the SIMs still apply or do I have to by another book (do not have the funds currently)

Long story short: After studying the book and working my butt off with the problems, I ended up scoring lower…put the book away and moved on to other materials

This being my 7th attempt ( :'( sobs) at AUD, I have a pile of various outdated study material (in the mean time I have both lost and regained credits for FAR and BEC)

However, since my REG (4x to pass) expires in February and I REALLY don't want to revisit that material, I have to pass this exam for once and for all!!!

Here's to lucky number 7!!!!
