Advice regarding switching review courses

    Hello All,

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has studied for at least 2-3 sections of the exam using one review course and then switched to another for the remaining section(s).

I used Becker for FAR, BEC, and REG and it has expired. I have already used my extension to take me through REG and I still have AUD left. I’m considering getting a cheaper review course for AUD such as ninja to cut costs but am afraid that I may have become accustomed to Becker’s style and that it may throw me off and require some transitioning. If anyone has done this, I would love to know your thoughts. Were there any difficulties moving over or was it easy?

Also, for those working in Audit who have used Becker final review, I’d also like to know if just using that is sufficient having just finished my second busy season in a large firm working on private company audits?

    Thanks!

you passed 3 with becker, why change? stick with what works is my advice/opinion. The costs will pale in comparison to being certified and the benefits it will deliver down the road.

I remember when I bit the bullet and paid $2k or so for the full package from Roger. Looking back I would have paid plenty more than that to get the results I got and to pass them all on the first try like I did. Best $2k I've spend thus far in my life.

Thank you TommyTheCat! Although it should be noted that I didn't exactly pass so easily with Becker- I spent four months studying for FAR and only got a 76 and it took me three tries to pass REG
