I just passed audit. I am only taking 9 credits this semester to focus on the CPA exam. I was thinking of taking either REG or FAR next, which one do you guys suggest? I’m taking an Audit class, a financial class, and a communication class at the moment.

AUD- 22, Just missed it...maybe next time!
REG- 14, so close!!!

I'd take FAR. I think FAR is just a good foundation. It is also more closely related to AUD than REG is and BEC is a good last test. My intension was to take either AUD or BEC last because I felt like those were the “easier” exams. And I did pass both on the first try and not so with FAR and REG. I also wanted to stagger the hard/easier. So my plan was FAR, BEC, REG, AUD. In retrospect I think FAR, AUD, REG, BEC would have been good.

FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

That's what I was wondering, too, Chapman. If it ties in with FAR (as in financial accounting, rather than finance), then studying for FAR while you take it could be really good. I took advanced financial accounting while studying for FAR, and just going over the debits and credits on leases, bonds, etc. was helpful for waking up that info in my brain.

Take BEC after audit. I did and there was a lot of repetitive information that I already knew thanks to me taking audit first.
