Advice on fixing my study plan?

After studying 10 weeks and failing FAR, I decided to try the NINJA approach with AUD (I’m studying for now). I watched all the lectures, did flashcards, and listened to the NINJA audio dozens of times. I also took detailed notes on chapter 1-3 and am beginning to start chapter 4-6 (Becker).

Writing notes and trying to read and really understanding the material has been so time consuming. Since I’m scheduled to take AUD Nov 7th, I decided I had no choice but to start doing some MCQ. Unfortunately, the results have been horrible (58-70%). I feel like maybe this way was a mistake, and I should do a chapter a week.. Do the lecture, MCQ, SIM, then go to the next even though that failed me before.

I feel discouraged and unsure how to proceed with my studying for audit after my HW scores are not improving under a different strategy. Can anyone offer me advice? Should I delay my exam and start over with a different plan? And what is a better plan for future exams?

    Passed all sections.

The NINJA method has definitely gotten me through the past two exams, AUD & BEC. I failed AUD just following Becker, and then I supplemented with NINJA notes and NINJA audio, and followed the NINJA method and got a passing score! However, with BEC I just followed the NINJA method, but did not get the notes/audio, but I was luckily enough to get a passing score.

So even though it does stink getting those low scores while taking MCQ's, I feel its the best way to learn the material. Just keep on doing as many MCQ's as you possibly can. But this is what worked for me, I hope the NINJA method gets you a passing score!

    REG - 2/27/2013 - 78!!!!
    AUD - 5/17/2013 - 72...Retake July 12th - 79!!!!
    BEC - 8/29/2013 - 77!!!!
    FAR - 11/14/2013- 72....Retake February 28th - 80!!! DONE!!!!
