After studying 10 weeks and failing FAR, I decided to try the NINJA approach with AUD (I’m studying for now). I watched all the lectures, did flashcards, and listened to the NINJA audio dozens of times. I also took detailed notes on chapter 1-3 and am beginning to start chapter 4-6 (Becker).
Writing notes and trying to read and really understanding the material has been so time consuming. Since I’m scheduled to take AUD Nov 7th, I decided I had no choice but to start doing some MCQ. Unfortunately, the results have been horrible (58-70%). I feel like maybe this way was a mistake, and I should do a chapter a week.. Do the lecture, MCQ, SIM, then go to the next even though that failed me before.
I feel discouraged and unsure how to proceed with my studying for audit after my HW scores are not improving under a different strategy. Can anyone offer me advice? Should I delay my exam and start over with a different plan? And what is a better plan for future exams?
