Sorry if this is the wrong place or if posted before…
I used Gleim. Each book is $89, cheaper if you buy 4 at once. Each book gives you access to the online test bank. With roughly 2500 questions each. Be careful they will try to sell you a lot of other stuff you don’t need.
Here is my advice in no particular order of importance.
1) if you can, break your study into 2 hr increments.
2) pound the MC over and over. Don’t memorize answers, understand the concepts!
3) I stress this: USE the AUTHORITATIVE LITERATURE on the sims. it can make a huge difference. It saved my life for audit and far.
4) do you hate reading chapters? Me too, I read for less than 2 hours in total directly from the book between the four sections. If you are having trouble with a topic, check out YouTube or Vimeo. Schools and CPA review courses offer plenty of free lectures. I did that when I lacked motivation to grind the MC
5) looking for good notes? That are FREE? Check out ScribD . It has tons of documents and is actually a really useful site for things outside of the CPA exam
6) don’t kid yourself, this exam is hard. It pits you against your fellow CPA takers. Ask yourself this question , if only 45% pass each section, am I working harder than 55% of the people taking this exam? If yes then you are golden. If you don’t know, then motivate yourself until you feel confident you are.
