Some-time lurker, first time poster here,
I am looking for some advice here on how to deal with studying for the exam when everything in life seems to be getting really hectic.
I start my real accounting job in the fall but meanwhile am working a job that merely manages to pay the bills. It is hard to get hired for other temporary positions because I currently reside in a small town with very limited opportunities. It is a very erratic job with work on an on-demand basis – so sometimes it will take up 2 whole days of getting things done – some days travel from town to town and some days will go by without work.
In addition to that, old cars in the house so they keep breaking down so time goes in getting them repaired along with money that I barely have. The only reason I am waiting for the job in the fall is because it is a really large firm and my opportunities are limited due to other factors.
I would appreciate hearing from you guys about strategies to do while working erratic schedules and some encouragement about this process.
