Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has tried working with an accounting coach? And, if so, then how did you find your coach?

It may be helpful to clarify what I mean by “coach”.

There seems to be a lot of information online pertaining to accounting coaches, like websites that offer tutorials and such. I don’t mean something like a website. What I am referring to is a face-to-face, one-on-one sort of rapport, where the coach is familiar with the coached, and where they are headed both academically and professionally, and who can mentor, complement and reinforce a candidate’s efforts.

Similar job titles might be “life coach” or “job coach”, except those titles tend to be a little more general; a more specific “accounting coach” (hopefully with CPA credentials) title would be more appropriate for passing the CPA Exams and advancing in one’s career.

So, if anyone has any good pointers, please let me know.
