3 sections in 3 months?

How doable is it to pass 3 sections of the CPA exam in 3 months with NINJA’s new monthly plan? Long story short, I passed AUD in Feb 2017 with an 87, shortly after I got married and moved to NYC and always thought I’ll have plenty of time to pass the other sections.

It turns out I was way wrong, I got a 66 on FAR back in February and now I am looking to take all 3 remaining sections before the June 29th score release so I can give myself one more window before I lose my AUD score (Aug 11, 2018). Has anyone had success using Ninja’s material only? Since I’m on a time crunch I can’t see myself being able to go through all of Wiley’s material efficiently. I’m at work 9-10 hours a day (Senior Accountant at BioPharma company) so I get about 3 hours a night to study and 8-9 hours on weekends.

    YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Try to study at work instead of work. It will help.

3 hours/night & 8-9 hours at weekend is how I passed FAR & REG in 3 months while working full time, I could never do an additional part, but you go for it!!! everything's possible

I'm attempting 3 in 3 months in the Q2 testing window, FAR, AUD, and BEC. I think it's totally doable. I started preparing for FAR in January and was able to get an April 2 testing date for FAR. I was also able to squeeze in BEC on June 8 which I think is the second to the last testing date for Q2. Of course, AUD is in May. Buckle down and get it done!!

I would just start over and re-take audit myself and do the whole thing over the course of the next year. Your schedule is basically 30 hours a week for 10.5 weeks. And that's assuming you have literally nothing else going on ever. I'm going to bet you only actually get 20 hours a week of study time. So that's only 210 hours for 3 sections, or 70 hours per section. With that little prep you will have a high chance of failing scores which would ruin the whole plan.

Sorry to be the doomsayer but I'm an accountant and I don't like risk-taking.

I think it is doable. I would try to pass 2 of the sections in Q2 and continue to study for the 3rd section and take it before Aug 11. I would be afraid of you rushing to pass all 3 in one quarter that you might fail 2 of the 3 and then you would have to pass 2 in a matter of a month of 6 weeks.

Oh I missed the Aug 11 date. Why are you wanting to do all 3 in 3 months when you have 5 months before your score drops off? Get 2 done this test window and do the last one in the Q3 window. Going into the tests better prepared to pass is a better plan than planning around failures and retakes. So instead of 70 hours to study each section you'd have 105 hours each in this quarter then almost 9 weeks to study for the third one. I'd save FAR for last since you get more study time on your 3rd test due to the break between quarters.

Definitely doable. I was able to pass BEC 2/19, FAR 4/4, & AUD 4/30 while working full time and studying about the same time per day/night. Just make your time count and go all in! Good luck!

    B - 88 (2/16)
    A - 84 (4/16)
    R - 73 (6/16), 82(7/16)
    F - 67 (1/16), 84(4/16)

    Ethics - 93

Thanks for the advice everyone. I was having trouble with some of the REG material so I pushed it back to 4/26 rather than 4/14. I'm now taking FAR in July rather than trying to squeeze into Q2 with REG and BEC which means I just said goodbye to my FL vacation in June!
