I see all of the different study methods and most include note writing. I haven’t written anything down, except to do calculations. It just doesn’t do anything for me. Really all I have done is MCQ’s till I am blue in the face. With audit I read the standards. It’s just funny how different things work for different people. I can’t imagine waking up early to study. Maybe I am a slacker exam taker, lol.

I'm not a note taker either. The most I write down is to jot down little notes in the margins of my book that I highlight as I watch lectures. It's definitely different for everyone.

I finally just drilled McQs non stop for a month and passed BEC. Don't know if it can work for others and I did attempt it two times before with note taking methods, but I just feel my time is best used seeing as much material as I can and repeating and hoping it all sticks rather than take the time to create a second copy to comeback to.

Just me now I suppose. I used to be a big note taker and re-writer in college.

I have to write everything down, otherwise it wont stick.

It takes me 2-3 hours to read entire chapter, i will forget 75% of what i just read by the time i finish reading the chapter.

No point doing mcqs and scoring 30%….

My plan is to first listen to the lecture, then read the chapter.

Then go over the chapter again and write it all down paraphrasing it all in my own words.

Print it out and try to memorize my notes

do MCQs and SIMS until I get 80s+

    repeat for each chapter

For FAR i typed out like 300 pages, for AUD 200.

    FAR - 76*, 73, 85
    BEC - 69, 72, 78*, 80
    AUD - 72, 71, 90
    REG - 71, 74, 85

    AFTER 3 YEARS I'M DONE!!!
