Well – I just found out that I got a 73 on FAR and a 70 on REG and I’m losing my credit for AUD (still have BEC for now). I’ve never felt so defeated.  I was using Becker to study and I just have no idea where to start now that I have these scores.  I’m an auditor, but now I have to learn international crap that I will never use…great.

I have a pretty demanding work schedule and I’m heading into busy season.  Any recommendations?

AUD 92 (now expired FML), retake 2/27
    BEC 87
    FAR 73, 73, 78
    REG 70, 74, 75

Just keep going.  If you got a 70 or above you know the stuff well enough to pass.  For me it was getting lucky with the sims.  My first time at FAR i had easy sims but didnt know the MC that well.  The next two times I got killed by the sims.  The last time I knew the sims like the back of my hand, which is why I jumped 10 points.  Sometimes it is just luck.  If you were that close, you really do not need to do that much more studying.  A few weekends and you should be fine.

    BEC - 75(expired), 79
    REG - 63, 54, 61, 69 (Gave up for a year. Finally decided to really study) 73, 78
    FAR - 70, 71, 73, 83
    AUD - 61, 72, 72, 76

You're SO close!  Last year I got 2 74's in a row on BEC and FAR – I felt horrible!  I found repition of MC was key – i crammed for each section for about 3 weeks and just did hundreds of MC questions…it gave me the extra point i needed.  Just keep your head on – you CAN do this.  And don't worry too hard about the international on audit – I was fuming about this when I learned I had to retake audit in 2011 – turned out to be pretty straightforward and simple….honest!

Thanks guys – it's good to see some other people on the edge like me. Everyone I work with just passed with a 75 or 77 and I couldn't believe that I kept scoring just under the cut. I think the worst part is they are staff and I'm continually fixing their work…clearly I have more knowledge at least on something!!

There is something to be said for luck on the simulations. I don't think I was able to finish them on REG. It doesn't help that the load between each tab is more lengthy now and there are more tabs than in 2010.

So for studying is the verdict to just keep practicing MCQ?

AUD 92 (now expired FML), retake 2/27
    BEC 87
    FAR 73, 73, 78
    REG 70, 74, 75
