    Hi,

I graduated in 2014 with Master of Accountancy degree. Recently started working full time and my next goal is to take a cpa exam. I am not able to decide from where should I start for Cpa. Can anyone pleas help me with listing down all the steps that I need to follow. I am pretty sure with my masters degree, I have completed the 150 credit hour requirement. Still, where would I find all the necessary information? Which are the best exam review courses for self study? Which exam window should I go for, if I want to finish all sections before 2018? I went over Aicpa and state Accountancy board websites, but it confuses me more. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

All sections by 2018 does seem too ambitious especaially since you are working full time, unless you don't mean all 4 by Jan 1, 2018. If you wanted them done by the end of 2018, that is definitely doable. The general consensus is to take FAR first. I took AUD first and wish I had taken FAR first. As far as materials, its all based on your style, most allow a trial period to see if you like it.

When you initially apply for the exam you have to give all your transcripts and they will let you know if you meet the 150 hour requirement.

    AUD - 92
    BEC - 79
    REG - August
    FAR - TBD

You'll need to apply to your State Board. They will review your transcript and let you know if you can even sit for the exam.

Next, start looking at the different exam software and study materials.

Get your plan together. I work full time, have a house, and a husband. It's tough to study all the time. The biggest thing for me was planning out study time.

Unless you're an international student, I'd start with one exam and take it before moving onto the next. There is only one window left for this year. I hate to break it to you, but unless you've already started studying, you probably won't get all 4 studied for and taken within this window.
