When to retake AUD while still studying other portions?

I am currently studying for REG and I woke up to find that I failed AUD with a 63 🙁
I took FAR in July and I’m scheduled to take REG on 9/7 and BEC on 11/3. Would trying to restudy for AUD after BEC and retaking in Dec be doable?
AUD was the first test I took and I wasn’t confident going in but didn’t feel horrible after the test but obviously I knew I hadn’t done enough going in. So I read they give you like a candidate performance showing what you didn’t do well in, how long after the score release or where am I supposed to find that? I think if I see that I will have a better idea of what to study and whether 1 month will be enough study time for a retake.

Oh and I wanted to ask, do you study for a retake while studying to take another exam? How do you manage your time if you do? I'm new to it all so any tips on anything, even things I didn't ask would be helpful and EXTREMELY appreciated.

I wouldn't rely on the candidate performance you receive. It's not very detailed and won't give you a direction really so if you have to restudy for AUD, really just start from scratch. The other thing I would do if I were you is focus on studying for your upcoming exam – REG. Don't try to divide your attention between two exams. It can be very tempting to study for an exam you failed for while putting everything else aside but this was your first attempt and you're not losing any time since your clock isn't ticking yet. Depending on whether you work full-time, I think an AUD retake is doable in December after your BEC in November. I had to retake AUD in Q2 as well after a 74 in Q1 and a month is about how much I spent in studying again. You'll have some familiarity with the material so it shouldn't take you very long to get through the videos. This time around, def focus on understanding why you're getting your MCQ's wrong and practice as many SIMs as you can. Hope this helps.

I just failed Audit with a 73. Devastatingly close.
I am taking FAR on 9/08 also.

So my plan is to start studying for AUD immediately after FAR for the 2-3 weeks it takes to receive my FAR score. That way I know whether to sign up for either 1 or 2 exams on my NTS.

I definitely do not recommend studying for more than 1 section a a time. That is information overload and could get confusing… however maybe others will think differently if they've done it. From my experience with AUD, 4 weeks AFTER already having taken it should be sufficient. Wait for your REG and FAR scores to come back before applying for another test.

    Good Luck!

This was really helpful – I found out I failed and with a low 65. Devastated, frustrated.. can't even start. I AUD 5/7 and BEC 5/30 so hoping at least I passed one out of two. Was planning to take REG by 10/11 and wondering if I can push to re-take AUD by 9/2 (hoping to take memorial weekend off after working horrible hrs the past 2 months) PLEASE PLEASE ADVISE.I don't know what to do and my level of desperation is out of my control. Goal is to be done with this nightmare in 2017. FYI I work full time. Any advise?

@schrutebeet (love the name and the profile pic lol) I think your right and I definitely agree that I should wait and try to take it after BEC) Also thank you for sharing, knowing that someone else has been able to do it in that time frame gives me hope. Lastly thanks for giving me a heads up about the candidate performance, I was planning to base my studies on that. You have been very helpful thank you so much.

@parthamis you're right studying for 2 test would be confusing and over load I think I'll wait to retake AUD and study all of November. If I have to retake FAR and REG I'll probably have to take them in 2018… which I was hoping that I would be done this year but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
