I planned to take BEC in January or February 2017 before the 2017 changes go into effect.

Now I am considering trying to take two exams (one in the beginning of January and one at the end of February). Does anyone have any recommendations as to which would be the best second section?

I will begin studying this week and have a planned schedule to get 20-25 hours per week in. Or does this whole plan sound bad? Currently I am considering REG in early-mid January and BEC in late Feb.

Since REG and BEC will change the most, this sounds like a great plan. I passed AUD and BEC in the same window, I was working full-time, but only had my dog to take care of.

    Best of luck,

@thomthom27, if you start studying right now, your plan is possible, and I think taking REG in mid January and then taking BEC in late February is your best bet, giving you about 7 to 8 weeks for REG and 5 to 6 weeks for BEC.

It is definitely possible, but it won't be easy. Ideally, if you could squeeze in a little more time some weeks and make it 30 hours, that would be good, but try to hit that 25 hour mark each week. The holidays are coming up, which can make it more difficult, depending upon your personal situation (especially if you're married and/or have kids).

But I would definitely go for it!

    AUD - 85 (8/30/2015)
    FAR - 73 (10/13/2015), 85 (2/29/2016) (AND DONE!)
    BEC - 83 (11/04/2015)
    REG - 81 (11/30/2015)

Thanks for the suggestions. I don’t have much going on right now (no gf/wife/kids) besides working 40-50 hrs per week and starting a new position at my company in a couple weeks. However, I may just stick to my original plan by taking this slower and scheduling just the BEC for Q1. I don’t to push it and fail both because I didn’t give myself enough time.

    Thanks again!
