Hi all
I have 2015 studing material for wiely and 2014 for backer….i will both questions to take an exam in 2017 after the new amendments…..will they be enough or do i need updated material

Which exam?

If you take the exams in Q1 2017 you will be okay since the changes don't happen until Q2.

FAR in particular you need to watch out for the change in how they treat extraordinary gains. But the book is basically 95% the same aside from some of the changes.

REG/Audit I think you should be okay. Some of the tax rates for REG will be different but you can look them up and usually they will be given or won't even be tested. Material seems the same for the most part.

Not sure about BEC since I haven't taken that one yet so don't quote me for that.

Get some MCQ somewhere though.
