My situation just changed – I can now study full time for the next couple of months. Is it possible to be adequately prepared to take FAR at end of May? I graduated with a 3.8 in Accounting 1.5 years ago and our college is known for having a solid reputation for preparing for the CPA exam. (I then completed a Master’s with the same GPA immediately after.) I have pretty good study habits and generally test well. It’s not implausible for me to study 40+ hours per week during that time.

Any feedback would be useful. Thanks.

I did Becker also but I was 25+ years out of school and it took me 3+_ months along with running a full time (non industry) business. I think you can certainly do it.

Becker is A LOT of meat in each chapter – rather than rushing through, do one chapter in a day, then review, then move on.

that's the boat I am in right now. Will need to crank out 25+ hours a week to pass this last exam

@MasterOfTaxation – Thanks for posting this question! I feel I'm in the same boat as you and @Floreat (in regards to needing a couple months to prepare for FAR) I agree that people fail mostly due to being inadequately prepared. I don't like to rush things. The goal with these exams should be to pass the first time around, not as fast as possible! I was thinking about taking both REG and FAR in Q3, but after taking AUD today, I think I'm going to take my foot off the gas pedal and be a little more reasonable and just take one – probably FAR.
