For Texas CPA, I received my credit evaluation and following are the results

135 Hours in education
Accounting 0 hours out of 30 – missing 30
Business 18 hours out of 24 – missing 6
Accounting Research and Tax 0 hours out of 2
Accounting Business Comms 0 hours out of 2
Ethics course 0 hour out of 3

Based on my profile, can you please advise me what is the best option both cost and time wise for me to complete my missing credit hours.

Hi to clarify I am based in Houston,

I just came out of meeting with Houston Community Collage,

It appears I may end up needing 45 – 50 credit hours and could be looking into 1 1/2 – 2 years worth of part time education (since I have a full time job) just to be eligible for CPA

I have my MBA in Finance, CMA USA but my graduation was in business computing

I have 15 plus year experience also

so it's a bit of disappointment for me to spend so much time just to be eligible.

I will appericate if you can share some additional tips for me as I am still determined to fast track my credit hours.

Can I do some online and some inclass to speed up my study time

What are also cost effective ways to save on cost

you can only take 15 of the required 30 hours online and 15 in a classroom setting.
