Justification

How can such a long delay in score releases be justified for the new exam for all remaining quarters? Especially when people’s time, money, and jobs are on the line. Not to mention it’s a computer graded exam. I’m not upset about an exam change, but when you completely waste MONTHS of people’s lives that is a different story.

There's no sense trying to justify anything the AICPA does. I mean, for an exam that's supposed to demonstrate ability to protect the public the way it's graded is more classified than any government documents. End of the day it's their game their rules and if they decide you'll get your score in two years via carrier pigeon that's the game you're playing.

Back in the day, we had a long score release wait too, but not this long. It was common for someone to take an exam on say, July 1, and not get their scores until mid-September (the old Wave 1 / Wave 2 days).

It's not fun, but I understand why they are doing it. They are tinkering with the “75” recipe and have to get it right.
