Sooo.. I failed my first attempt at FAR with 73 and AUD with 72 in Feb. I was really hoping that I would pass before the new exam format comes in but oh well.. I am crushed.. Anyways, as I am studying for FAR to retake it in April 10, I went through the 2017 changes posted on Becker website. Apparently, there are so many topics that they are eliminating. Here are the lists according to Becker:

    Personal F/S
    Liquidating basis F/S
    Joint Ventures
    Investment Property
Debt with conversion features (I’m assuming this is convertible bonds)
Other options (assuming this is stock option?)
    Deferred compensation arrangements
    Nonretirement postemployment benefits
    ARO
    Related party transactions

Honestly, I think they are getting rid of too much! Is this a reliable/correct information? Should I just skip those parts (coz I am using 2016 becker book and 2017 ninja notes) and spend more time on other topics? I am worried that I may get those questions on the exam and I would get soooo furious. Help me!!!!!

I believe exam content (even with changes) is posted by NASBA, see if any of the stuff listed as being eliminated is still in exam content section.

    AUD (2/16)-84
REG (05/16)-69 Retake (7/16)-79 (ty ninja MCQ)
    BEC-TBD
    FAR-9/8/16
