To satisfy the Auditing and Attestation Services requirement, applicants must complete a course covering “external” auditing. Internal auditing and performance auditing courses will be accepted as accounting credit; however, they will not fulfill the Auditing and Attestation Services requirement.

I found LSU that offers Auditing but i’m not sure if it is sufficient for “external” auditing? also, I’m communicating with NASBA about this matter but should I be contacting NYSED about a clarification?

I took the LSU Auditing course and it definitely was covering external auditing. However, I don't know what NY's definition is, or how they would determine whether or not the course met it.
