For this window, I’d like us to do the same as we did last window. Let’s predict out score!

I’ll go first. For BEC, I’m predicting a score of 81.

Oh gosh, I hope I won’t jinx it by predicting a passing score, but compared to how I felt during the times I passed and failed, for some reason, I don’t feel like I bombed BEC. I knew what I was doing 90% of the time throughout the exam. So, I’d be pretty annoyed to no end if I failed. There’s a good chance that I could’ve screwed up a few questions, so that’s why I’m not predicting a 90+ score. And besides, it’s very rare that anyone scores in the 90s in BEC mainly because it’s not curved much. But who knows.

I’ll post my REG prediction when I take it in 3 weeks.

Anyways, what are your predictions for your Oct/Nov 2011 exams?

Felt so good about BEC before I found out the scores were coming so soon…. 72? It was my first one after all.

Same FAR-experience here. I even thought about not going and went only to see how it is and then I passed!

@gottaget- Sorry to hear that. REG is a beast, I admit. It makes you wonder though. How did we pass FAR but fail REG?? I was so sure I was on my way to getting my CPA because hey, I passed FAR, the most difficult of the 4 parts!!! IMHO, all 4 parts are all beasts in their own way.

Anyways, you'll make it next time. You just have to restudy and pay more attention to those tiny, little nitpicky details in your book. If you use Becker, they're called ancillary materials. Wiley just completely omits most of those, so that book is not very good. Gleim, on the other hand, just embeds all the ancillary material in the chapters.

I took FAR yesterday and the MC's were not bad at all, Sims gave me a little trouble and I only had 1 research question so my updated prediction is 78.

I left the testing center feeling pretty good. Not exceptional, but not bad either, so I'm predicting a passing score (fingers crossed)!

B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

Ok, just to follow up on my first post, I predicted an 81 on BEC.

For REG, I'm predicting a 75.

While I found my REG multiple choice to be a lot easier than my BEC ones, I have to give myself a lower score for REG because those Sims really killed me. I think I probably got just enough points to pass.

REG – 70, the second testlet really killed me :(((((((((((((((((((( and then i had to rush and ran out of time, arg… im super sad cause i studied so hard too.

I walked out of my REG test laughing and saying there was no freaking way I passed. I got a 68.

I'm waiting on FAR and I'm totally unsure. Second and third testlet I marked a ton and toward the end of the MC my brain was frying and I forgot some basic stuff. My simulations were tough, but fair. Since this is my third try and I've been having a bit of bad luck lately I'm going to say a 74.

Hello people…I'm new here. I sit for FAR November 30th. I graduated from college 13 years ago and haven't sat for the exam since 1999! Ha…a lot has changed! I passed 2 sections back then…and have lost credit (obviously). Here's my prediction since I've been out of this game for a very long time…FAR 76. I truly feel it's going to be a pass…but barely!
