For this window, I’d like us to do the same as we did last window. Let’s predict out score!

I’ll go first. For BEC, I’m predicting a score of 81.

Oh gosh, I hope I won’t jinx it by predicting a passing score, but compared to how I felt during the times I passed and failed, for some reason, I don’t feel like I bombed BEC. I knew what I was doing 90% of the time throughout the exam. So, I’d be pretty annoyed to no end if I failed. There’s a good chance that I could’ve screwed up a few questions, so that’s why I’m not predicting a 90+ score. And besides, it’s very rare that anyone scores in the 90s in BEC mainly because it’s not curved much. But who knows.

I’ll post my REG prediction when I take it in 3 weeks.

Anyways, what are your predictions for your Oct/Nov 2011 exams?

I was hoping that it would be started because I enjoyed looking back and seeing how well folks guessed compared to what they actually scored. If felt I fail so be it! there is nothing wrong with that. If I passed then YESSSS but I doubt it. It is my own opinion. What is wrong with the word raped and bamboozled. Should I use cheated, highly tested my a$$, violated??? they all mean the same. It is great that you have passed your exam on the first try but not everyone can do that. I have the right to feel the way I feel.

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)
    AUD FAILED (2x)

What is wrong with comparing the feelings of someone who is raped to the feelings that you had on a CPA Exam? Really? You dont see anything offensive or insensitive about that comparison?

no but if it is bothering you that much please change it I no longer have the option to change it.

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)
    AUD FAILED (2x)

gottaget, without getting too deep on the subject I am sure that people who have experienced rape would trade places with taking this exam any day, but I for one wouldn't trade my lot with theirs. Not knowing who is on this board or what their experiences are its just not worth the risk, kwim?

    AUD taken on Nov 19th — 82

Kind of scares me that this was the first exam I walked out confident I passed. In the event I have to, it will be easy to retake after studying for FAR this month 🙂

    BEC - 77 (exp. 2/23/12)
    REG - 75
    AUD - 74
    FAR - 11/29/11

@Macc Grad- I feel the same way about BEC and that is what frightens me.

    @CPAMan

BEC is relatively easier. If you felt confident walking out of the exam then that means you passed. Reg is another story and who knows how audit is going to go for me but I must pass it or die trying

    BEC- 80
    REG- 68, 71, July
    AUD- 61 , 84
    FAR- -- 75 🙂

    AUD 81

For BEC, I felt like it could go either way and ended up with an 81. I would be thrilled to be halfway done.

    75 or bust!

I took REG on October 13, and I didn't feel great about it. But I also didn't feel great about FAR and that turned out ok. I'm predicting a 78. I'll be taking BEC on November 17, and let's just say if my performance on lecture 1 MCQs is any indication, I will be working to bring the pass rates for BEC back down to where the AICPA probably wants them.

    FAR - 83
    AUD - 81
REG - 76 (That was close!)
    BEC - 82

I really hope this isn't the case, but it made me laugh!

Felt very uneasy about AUD. MCQs were challenging, while SIMS were brutal.

I honestly don't know what to expect, hoping for a positive news!

I was freaken out when i get out of the BEC exam on 10/13/2011 and was so hopeless. But as score release time approaches, I start to curse the “fail” feeling and hoping to get 75. Oh God thursday this time the score either makes or breaks me. Hope the latest won't happen!!!! sigh

Good luck to all the CPA soldiers!

@goodluck2everyone- If it weren't for the Sims, I would've felt confident walking out of AUD. The MCQs I got were pretty straightforward, but then the Sims came along and I was lost. But since I passed, the Sims were either insanely curved or I was lucky and guessed a lot of them correct, lol.

    FAR – 76

Even though I haven't taken it yet 😉

I feel more prepared for it than I have for any test I've ever taken in my life, but I still expect it to be insanely hard…

So I fully expect to pass (fingers crossed), but not by much???

I will update my prediction after I take it on Saturday 🙂

    B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
    R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)
