For this window, I’d like us to do the same as we did last window. Let’s predict out score!

I’ll go first. For BEC, I’m predicting a score of 81.

Oh gosh, I hope I won’t jinx it by predicting a passing score, but compared to how I felt during the times I passed and failed, for some reason, I don’t feel like I bombed BEC. I knew what I was doing 90% of the time throughout the exam. So, I’d be pretty annoyed to no end if I failed. There’s a good chance that I could’ve screwed up a few questions, so that’s why I’m not predicting a 90+ score. And besides, it’s very rare that anyone scores in the 90s in BEC mainly because it’s not curved much. But who knows.

I’ll post my REG prediction when I take it in 3 weeks.

Anyways, what are your predictions for your Oct/Nov 2011 exams?

@mla1169- I doubt that will happen. You went up 22 points when you took AUD for the 2nd time. Let's assume you went up another 22 points. So there's a chance you probably scored a 93. πŸ™‚

I don't know why, but I keep thinking that i will see a 74 for my BEC πŸ™ this is terrible.

    @ atelery

I am thinking of the samething! 74 is worse than a 71!

@mla, I agree with CPAman, you are selling yourself short!

Not sure if I should predict my score. It's easier for you guys, “experienced CPA exam takers,” as you have something to compare to… I usually prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

Well, I'd say 83 on BEC for a number of reasons : 1) I felt well prepared and knew the material; 2) nobody has predicted an 83 here yet; 3) I REALLY WANT IT TO BE 83!

    BEC - 10/12/2011 - 78
    AUD - 11/23/2011 - 84
    FAR - 02/22/2012 - 76 (I'll take it!)
    REG - 08/31/2012

@shellgirl- Yeah, I think I jinxed it with my prediction and because of that, I may end up getting that infamous 74! A lot of people are saying that BEC is curved very differently than the other 3, so there is a chance that I could be way off in my prediction and end up failing. This is my first time taking BEC, so I have no idea how it's graded.

How about a 78 for FAR? Please God, please. If I pass FAR, BEC will be my last one in exactly 2 weeks!

    AUD | 85
    REG | 77
    FAR | 76
    BEC | 83
    ========
    ETH | 93
    State Board Application pending!

I'm going to be optimistic and predict 85 for AUD mainly because I felt much better walking out of AUD than I did BEC but was not as prepared as I was for FAR. Hopefully I'm right! We'll know in a few days hopefully assuming the AICPA pulls through and meets the goal dates.

@altlery, shellgirl, and CPAMan, don't sell yourselves short on BEC. I think it's more curved than the others because I predicted a 75 last score release and got an 83. The only reason I even put a 75 was because I didn't even want to entertain the idea of failing.

Good luck to everyone with score releases this week! I hope we all report back higher scores than predicted!

    FAR 88 (07/15/11)
    BEC 83 (08/31/11)
    AUD 81 (10/15/11)
    REG 83 (11/26/11)

I was hoping we would start one of these threads

    REG 71

    BEC 69

Starting to really think that I have test anxiety or something. because prior to the test I am GOOD and confident!! during and after I just feel “raped” “bamboozled” and just plain stupid!

    FAR 76
    REG 76(2x)
    BEC FAILED (2x)
    AUD FAILED (2x)

Why were you hoping this thread would be started if you were just going to put down two failing scores?

Also, the way you described how you felt after your test is both insensitive and offensive.

thanks ipass and cpaman. Let me wallow. Last window I predicted a 78 on AUD but ended up with a 71. The only test I was every 100% CONVINCED I failed was FAR, which was my highest score to date. So going with my very faulty self evaluation skills, the worse I “think” I did may just be the best in the long run.

Wouldn't it be hysterical if this were my higest of scores?

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

    @minimorty

that's what he/she is predicting as their score, what's wrong with that? I myself am predicting no higher than a 60 on REG so what's the problem here? The title doesn't say “predict your score only if you think you passed

Also besides the use of the word rape, there was nothing else really wrong with that post.

    BEC- 80
    REG- 68, 71, July
    AUD- 61 , 84
    FAR- -- 75 πŸ™‚

@good – The first part of my post I was honestly inquiring why she was hoping this thread would be created. Nothing wrong at all with predicting non-passing scores. I just found it odd that she was “hoping” this thread would be created, but then put two failing scores down. If I thought I failed both exams, I wouldn't exactly be thrilled to predict my failing scores on a new thread. You are also welcome to post a 60 as your prediction. Were you hoping this thread was created? Probably not.

Regarding my second comment, did you think I was referring to anything else? I didnt say anything was wrong with her post other than the way she described how she felt after her exam.
