In the Yaeger CRAM, why does Phil Yaeger say to only do the questions he assigns? Is there any harm in doing more questions than the ones assigned? Or should I really just focus on the assigned ones? Any advice on this?

I would say go ahead with a caveat, you will learn things you wont use the exam and it will take away from the concentration of what you learned from the review course. I'm not saying you would necessary be at a disadvantage, but be aware that they have been doing this so long they have a better sense of what is on the exam. I tried to do every question when I was doing FAR and I found that it became demotivating and that the best option is if I did every question to see which they assigned and that gave me a better gauge of my progress.

I used Yeager both times for REG and did exactly what phil said (added Jeffs notes to the process). Phil tells you exactly what to concentrate on and there was nothing on the exam that I wasn't surprised about. Concentrate on the heavy areas and you should be prepared…..good luck!

Do the assigned MCQs – and then do as many as you can on the Wiley software.

I 100% agree with Jeff. I did all the assigned problems and then I did all the software problems that were similar to what phill assigned (majority of the software problems are similar to what phill assigned). There were some surprises on the exam but could have been pre-test. What phill tells you to focus on is what you will see on the test!

I have completed the ones in the Wiley book and have 9 days study days until my exam. I am deciding whether to go back and do the question in the book again or to move on to the Wiley software. I am thinking trying to knock out as many questions in the software is the better plan…
