Just got off the phone with pro metric they can't do anything to reschedule as all testing centers in my area are full for tomorrow the 31st. I was told to call NASBA. They told me I had to email candidate services at NASBA and they should reply within 1-3 days.
I live in CT. No close testing center with availability. However just got off hold with another call with prometric supposedly testing extended till the 0th but can't schedule till tomorrow due to computer system updates. So hoping tomorrow has date available if not see if nasba will extend NTS a week.
Was anyone able to reschedule? The service I received from Prometric has been dreadful. I spoke with multiple people, put on hold for hours, given different explanations and continually told to phone back to see if anything becomes available. It's not just a one month wait. When I sit my exam in October it won’t be graded until December.
If approximately 500 candidates were affected by the hurricane why is prometric having such difficultly in rescheduling us?
Can't answer your question about the problems with Prometric, but the faster grading process is supposed to be implemented next test window so you shouldn't have to wait until December for your score.
@kb – I thought I read that even if you test October 1, you won't get scores until at least Nov. 1. After that, scores are released every couple of weeks. Have you seen anything similar?
I got rescheduled today for Friday morning. I went through the whole process with prometric. NWord I received is that I was rescheduled because my NTS expired in sept. Sounded like only those expiring would be rescheduled for this window. I heard only a limited amount of centers will be doing the testing. So if your NTS extends to next window sounds like you will be pushed to oct/nov.
I keep getting told by prometric it’s a first come first serve policy for the additional appointments but I called first thing Tuesday and continue to be told there are no appointments left. I was even willing to travel. It's incredibly unfair if it’s only for those with NTS that are expiring. NASBA told me this is not the case but I don't know what to believe anymore. I am wasting a valuable exam window. It's my last exam section and I am ready to sit it now!
