I thought Jeff’s thread about guessing when the AICPA will release scores was cool concept. So I decided to start a new one on a very similar topic: I opened a handle (that’s a 1.75L for those not speaking the lingo) of Johnnie Walker Red Label. How much will I drink so drown away the pain and misery before I actually see both my FAR and AUD scores. Please take note, this includes however long it takes me to get access to Massachusetts scores (a 24hr state).

There is currently 10.75 inches of scotch, with the top of the bottle holding a little less per inch than the bottom. Therefore, guesses should be made on how many inches will be left. ex: a guess of 5.6 means there will be 5.6 inches of scotch left upon receiving my score.

Winner gets an electronic hug from me, Bob, for knowing the best combination of my drinking tendencies, score release, and technical problems of getting the scores.

My guess is that you will have 5.6″ left in bottle number 2 before scores are actually released. If you are anything like me anyway.

Have you already started? If so, you may need more than one bottle. We may still have 10 more days!

I say if you've already started, you'll have 1″ left. Most of the consumption will take place between score releases as you will find out if you passed the first one (celebrate) or failed (drown your sorrows).

I started last night. I do have a growler of IPA in the fridge waiting to be opened when I do finally get my scores. I'm still hoping I passed both so I can take the day off from REG and drink beer and eat take-out Chinese food.

@Bob, Do you have Costco's where you live? If so, you can probably get a good deal on a whole case of Scotch!

I do, but I do not frequent them. usually hit up NH's tax free liquor stores for my needs.

I did, I pre-celebrated on Wednesday and it was DELICIOUS! I think I'll make eating Chinese on my list of celebratory items for next score release as well 🙂
