Hello All!

This is my first post but have lingered for awhile. I have AUD and FAR passed with AUD expiring 7/31. I took REG in May and Just took BEC 7/31. I spaced out my tests because of the scoring timeline. I feel pretty good about REG and ok about BEC but want to be prepared when the scores come out (in what seems like 6 months) if I failed one. Does anyone have any information about what the WI state board is doing for those effected by the scoring timeline? I spoke with a NASBA employee that told me some boards are going to take situations by a case by case basis but didn’t know anything more then that.

If you pass BEC and fail REG you probably have a chance at an extension but if you fail BEC the score release really didn't effect you.

I purposely held off on taking BEC in June as I would only get one shot at it. Whether I took it in Q2 or Q3 the score would be released past the expiration date. My thought process was that I might as well get as much studying in as possible. I originally had it planned out to take each section two times if needed until they posted the new score release timeline. Hopefully I didn't shoot myself in the foot by delaying it…

I emailed the WI DSPS back in May to ask how they were handling it; they told me to contact NASBA.

I followed up with WI DSPS and heard back from the Executive Director of the Accounting Examining Board. They will be taking it on a case by case basis for applicants who were effected and the Board has “discretion” whether to extend the time or not. This will be decided after receiving the scores back.
