Why does it take so long to receive scores?

If the entire exam is computerized, shouldn’t it generally be a lot faster to get your scores? My friend just took his series 6/7 tests for Finance and he found out immediately after his exam if he passed.

    Wouldnt that be nice…

I dont know the reasoning and neither does anyone on this forum… Get on with your programme and leave the results and timing on the AICPA. It would be nice, if you get a score right away after you finish the exam, so then you can break the screen or jump in joy…..

This is lightening speed compared to 18 short months ago, even longer before that!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

It takes so long to prevent this from happening. 4+ weeks is more than enough time to separate someone completely involved in their studies. And horribly disappointed by failure. Just a guess btw. Could be to limit the number of passers (and CPA's) too.
