Which is harder, FAR vs REG ? - Page 3

    I know this is very subjective, just wanted to hear your thoughts as to why. List the other exams if you wish. So far for me REG has been most challenging.

    @op,

    I would say FAR was the hardest to prepare for because of the sheer volume, but if I was to judge the difficulty of the subjects I would say the tax part of REG was harder than the contents of FAR.

    Hey StudyMonk,

    Do not worry too much about Reg. Just try to do your best. I was worry about Reg as well when i studied for it. The rules and numbers are hard to remember but when i sat for the exam, the MCQs were not too difficult. I thought i did ok on it but be prepare for the Sims. Do as much practice as you can. Good luck. 😀

    Do not worry too much about Reg. Just try to do your best. I was worry about Reg as well when i studied for it.     They both suck in different ways..I would say they are about equally hard..I would take FAR sims over REG sims any day though.. FAR is more like college review but REG is a new enemy.. All new subjects

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 ✔
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 ✔
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 ✔

    I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..

    I'm studying for REG right now. I have only two chapters to go in my studies and I like it better than FAR. I like taxes and business law though so I'm able to stay engaged better. I have a year 1/2 of tax experience, so I think it helps a bit. I might have been overwhelmed otherwise.

    Passed all sections.
