What’s the longest you’ve ever waited for a CPA score to go out?

What did you do during that time? other than the drive-you-crazy-nonstop “what if” thoughts..

For me Its been 13 days and i have 10 more days to go! I dont know if i shall re-study FAR (where i really think i didnt pass..simulations were out of this world..) Or do i start with AUD?.. or simply wait

    FAR May/17/15 - 70, 78
    AUD Aug/19/15 - 80
    BEC Nov/17/15 - 78
    REG Feb/24/16 - 78

Becker selfstudy + NINJA 10 point combo
Patience Practice Persistence.. & You'll get there!

I CANT BELIEVE I'M OFFICIALLY DONE. *Tears of joy*

Mine was 22 days. I took AUD on 2/2 and score release wasn't until 2/24. I would have gone crazy if I wasn't studying for BEC in the meantime. I think its best to study in the meantime. Don't lose hope. I'm in a similar situation with BEC. The questions were definitely on another level. I would recommend that you begin looking at AUD, In my opinion, studying for a section back-to-back doesn't necessarily give you an edge. Sometimes it good to look at some thing else. Good Luck!

    A - 2/2/15 - 76: PASSED
    B - 7/20/15 - 74, 73
    R - 7/24/15 - patiently waiting for 8/25 score release
    F - sometime in October

I took AUD on Oct 8 and got my score Nov. 4. After 27 days, I found out I failed. It was terrible but I already had 3 weeks into REG when I found out so I just made sure I passed it, and did.

Waiting sucks. It helped me to start studying for the next one. For me, it's best to get some fresh material. I started studying for my next section before I got my scores for all four tests. Unfortunately I only passed 3, but now I have 4 windows to pass AUD before they start expiring.

Good luck, I hope you passed.

I also waited from 2/2 to 2/24. I was so nervous I couldn't even process the wait. I aimed to stay fresh on BEC (it was my last section) and take the ethics test but I just couldn't do anything I was so paralyzed. I figured if I didn't pass I had until 4/20 to retake for the next score release.

All of that being said, this was my last section. Because you have AUD in front of you it may not be best to either A) assume you didn't pass FAR or B) not study audit during this time. If you refresh yourself on FAR now and don't pass and then sit for it again in April you'll have the same waiting game.

I was sure I passed only one of my sections (AUD) and convinced I didn't pass any of the others. The truth is that you never know. If I were you I'd study for AUD in March, take it first week of April then retackle FAR if you have to. It's always better to keep moving forward. That 18 month click waits for no one.

I took a CPA vacation. I watched a bunch of shows I had recorded, I went out on the town with some friends and got a little crazy a few times, I nerded up big time on video games a few days, I did laundry, I cleaned the house, I attempted to learn new cooking recipes, and attempted to date (don't recommend during the CPA – they just don't understand).

Longest wait was a little over two weeks but this time it is only 10 days. If I pass I get another raise so that has kept my spirits up.

Longest I've had to wait was about 16 days. I gave myself a couple of days off (the weekend) and then I started into my next section.

For all of my exams, I felt confident enough coming out that I wasn't panicking about having to restudy for that exam. So I just moved on to my next section.

You've already taken a break so I'd say it's time to move on to AUD. You don't want to let good study habits lapse because once you stop studying, it's very easy to get into a bad mindset that makes picking up studying again really hard.

My longest wait was for BEC, my first exam, which I took on 02/17/14. The NINJA score release date was 03/07/14 but I was in the bubble and didn't receive my score until 03/11/14. Since then I've made sure to take all of my exams as close to the end of a testing cycle as I can!

You realize 4 years ago there was one score release per window. Waited from 1/5/11 until 3/16/11. But the bottom line remains the same, don't waste time waiting just move on to the next one.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I have been focusing on other hobbies- lots of trips to the OTB. Aqueduct is too cold to justify the trip.
